Pasolini

A controversial personality due to his straightforward style, Pasolini's legacy remains contentious. Openly gay while also a vocal advocate for heritage language revival, cultural conservatism, and Christian values in his youth, Pasolini became an avowed Marxist shortly after the end of World War II. He began voicing extremely harsh criticism of Italian petty bourgeoisie and what he saw as the Americanization, cultural degeneration, and greed-driven consumerism taking over Italian culture

Colonia Suriname

For almost forty years the sisters Curiel sisters took pictures of everyday life in Suriname. The photographs show that Augusta Curiel was a compositional and a technically gifted photographer. She always worked with available light and no photometer. Despite these limitations, they proved able to create beautiful images in dim government buildings, churches and factories. Curiel's oeuvre is made up of mostly daily life topics, which were of value to historians and other interested parties. They photographed both in their studio and on plantations and in the interior. The botanist Gerold Stahel took the women on some of his expeditions. Many of the surviving images are group portraits, made by and for (mission) schools, boarding schools and orphanages.

"Cultural" Renaissance\ We are in the midst of a culturalin  which the importance of cultivation-focused efforts has been rediscovered, with ex\' results and implications. Several groups have demonstrated that a high percentage of host-associated microbiome members can be cultivated and that such culture collections are in for deducing important aspects of microbiome function . The renewed to culture cells from nonhost environments, such as soil , aquatic environments , and the deep biosphere , is inspired, in part, by these successes and the enormous amounts of  data that have illuminated seemingly limitless microbially diverse populations that we know very little about We can now dissect life blueprints for these uncultivated lineages and use this information to facilitate cultivation.

Soderberg

On  Soderbergh prefers sustained close-ups, tracking shots, jump cuts, experimental sequencing and frequently skips establishing shots in favor of audio and alternative visuals. Many of his films are noted for a milieu of suspense through the usage of third-person vantage points and a variety of over-the-shoulder shots. He is known for tracking aesthetic transitions with a variety of colored washes, most notably yellow to symbolize open, socially acceptable situations while blue washes typically symbolize illegal or socially illicit endeavors. In line with these washes, Soderbergh is liberal in his usage of montages as he believes that they are equally important story-telling as dialogue.

While the most common form of film adaptation is the use of a novel as the basis, other works adapted into films include non-fiction (including journalism), autobiographical works, comic books, scriptures, plays, historical sources and even other films. Adaptation from such diverse resources has been a ubiquitous practice of filmmaking since the earliest days of cinema in nineteenth-century Europe. In contrast to when making a remake, movie directors usually take more creative liberties when creating a film adaptation, changing the context of factors such as audience or genre.

Attention seeking behavior is defined as "engaging in behavior designed to attract notice and to make oneself the focus of others' attention and admiration".. People are thought to engage in both positive and negative attention seeking behavior independent of the actual benefit or harm to health. In line with much research and a dynamic self-regulatory processing model of narcissism, motivations for attention seeking are considered to be driven by self-consciousness and thus an externalization of personality rather than internal and self-motivated behavior. Attention seeking is often caused by threats to one's self-concept and the need for social acceptance. This type of influence on behavior can result in a potential loss of a person's sense of agency, personality disorder and the behavior associated with these conditions.

The term "silent film" is something of a misnomer, as these films were almost always accompanied by live sounds. During the silent era, which existed from the mid-1890s to the late 1920s, a pianist, theater organist—or even, in larger cities, an orchestra—would play music to accompany the films. Pianists and organists would play either from sheet music, or improvisation.

Artis museum

A museum was a given for the founders of the Zoological Society Natura Artis Magistra. They wanted to do research and in this way transfer knowledge about nature. They started collecting dead animals in 1838 and soon also living animals. The living animals were given their enclosures in the ever-expanding park, while a small building was built for the dead animals. This collection grew and within a few years this forerunner of the Groote Museum proved to be too small.

Ocean by David Attenborough

While Attenborough's earlier work focused primarily on the wonders of the natural world, his later work has been more vocal in support of environmental causes. He has advocated for restoring planetary biodiversity, limiting population growth, switching to renewable energy, mitigating climate change, reducing meat consumption and setting aside more areas for natural preservation. On his broadcasting and passion for nature, NPR stated Attenborough "roamed the globe and shared his discoveries and enthusiasms with his patented semi-whisper way of narrating".

Sinners: the film

Filmmaker Shanella Bleeke also makes films about subjects that are discussed in Sinners. According to her, the film not only shows violence within systems, but also deeper themes such as cultural appropriation. Sammy is asked to share his talent with the vampires, but then he loses the music. And when the twin brothers are not fighting the vampires, they are fighting the racist Ku Klux Klan. Bleeke was very happy when she saw a full house with a diverse audience during her cinema visit to Sinners. According to her, the film is a break with a major stigma in Hollywood: that films by black makers would attract a smaller target group. "This is a film that everyone wants to see, but it serves the black community.

Interaction: Groote Museum

Numerous companies have developed successful POV designs, from laparoscopic video equipment used inside the body during medical procedures, to high tech film and digital cameras mounted to jets and employed during flight, or on helmet based systems used by cinematographers. These designs are expensive, and mostly bespoke or DIY solutions. There are systems made by camera equipment manufacturers, but they require professional filmmaking experience and training.

Interactive museum Each zone in the museum represents a part of your body, such as your heart or your vocal cords. That part of your body is the starting point for an associative exploration of yourself and your connection with the world around you. Installations, interactions, stories, films, collection pieces and photos bring each zone to life. Artists and scientists have contributed their expertise. The museum combines multiple specialisms and is interdisciplinary, which allows you to see the bigger picture better. It is therefore an interactive museum, as well as a philosophical museum and a natural history museum.

Scholarly discourse on the controversy came to focus on concern for the perception of moving image and sound. There are individual and cultural preferences for either method. While approaches and opinions vary, some emphasize sound as paramount, others focus on technology preferences as the deciding factor. Analog fans might embrace limitations as strengths of the medium inherent in the compositional, editing, mixing, and listening phases. Digital advocates boast flexibility in similar processes. This debate fosters a revival of vinyl in the music industry, as well as analog electronics and analog-type plug-ins for recording and mixing software.
