A soundtrack is the music of a movie, TV series or computer game. In the case of film music, the music album is often released in the same period as the film in question premieres. Sometimes such a soundtrack also contains one or two songs that become a hit and make extra advertising for the movie or game.
Originally, the soundtrack was the sound track of a movie, with the dialogues, the background sounds, the sound effects and the film music.
