Peppers Ghost
Pepper's ghost is an illusion technique, used in theatre, cinema, amusement parks, museums, television, and concerts, in which an image of an object offstage is projected so that it appears to be in front of the audience. The technique is named after the English scientist John Henry Pepper, who popularised the effect during an 1862 Christmas Eve theatrical production of the Charles Dickens novella The Haunted Man and the Ghost's Bargain, which caused a sensation among those in attendance at the Regent Street theatre in London

Ghita Skali
Ghita Skali (born 1992 in Casablanca) is an artist based in Amsterdam. She has a multidisciplinary practice which encompasses installations, videos and interventions. She uses odd news, rumors and historical facts to disrupt institutional power structures. Her work blends humor and critics with outcomes that penetrate channels which go beyond the exhibition space, as alternative trade of goods, (il)legal documents, and things you take home.
RIP Rob Houwer
Upon his return to the Netherlands in 1971, he frequently collaborated with Paul Verhoeven and produced most of his Dutch films. Turkish Delight (1973), based on the novel by Jan Wolkers, became the most frequently visited film in Dutch cinema and still holds that place today. In 1973, Turkish Delight was nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 46th Academy Awards. Soldier of Orange received the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Foreign Film in 1979

Location shooting has several advantages over filming on a studio set. First and foremost is that real-world locations often offer rich "authenticity" which would be very expensive to duplicate elsewhere. Unless the actual location "has fallen into disrepair", it will always look better than a set.

The term "4K" is generic and refers to any resolution with a horizontal pixel count of approximately 4,000.: 2 Several different 4K resolutions have been standardized by various organizations. The terms "4K" and "Ultra HD" are used more widely in marketing than "2160p" (cf. "1080p"). While typically referring to motion pictures, some digital camera vendors have used the term "4K photo" for still photographs, making it appear like an especially high resolution even though 3840×2160 pixels equal approximately 8.3 megapixels, which is not considered to be especially high for still photographs

The Rise of Amsterdam
Surrealist cinema is a modernist approach to film theory, criticism, and production, with origins in Paris in the 1920s. The Surrealist movement used shocking, irrational, or absurd imagery and Freudian dream symbolism to challenge the traditional function of art to represent reality. Related to Dada cinema, Surrealist cinema is characterized by juxtapositions, the rejection of dramatic psychology, and a frequent use of shocking imagery

An event is a detectable occurrence or change in the system's state, such as user input, hardware interrupts, system notifications, or changes in data or conditions, that the system is designed to monitor. events trigger responses or actions and are fundamental to event-driven systems. these events can be handled synchronously, where the execution thread is blocked until the event handler completes its processing, or asynchronously, where the event is processed independently, often through an event loop.

Birth of a radio
Radio receivers are essential components of all systems based on radio technology. The information produced by the receiver may be in the form of sound, video (television), or digital data. A radio receiver may be a separate piece of electronic equipment, or an electronic circuit within another device. The most familiar type of radio receiver for most people is a broadcast radio receiver, which reproduces sound transmitted by radio broadcasting stations, historically the first mass-market radio application. A broadcast receiver is commonly called a "radio". However radio receivers are very widely used in other areas of modern technology, in televisions, cell phones, wireless modems, radio clocks and other components of communications, remote control, and wireless networking systems.
