The Dutch have somehting special with the Tour de France. They had two winners; Jansen and Zoetemalk and also two of the most spectacular falls. Wim van Est who survived a fall into the Gorges and Jonny Hoogeland who was hit by a french TV car.
Three times the Tour had its departure in the Netherlands once in Amsterdam (see video) and lately in "s-Hertogenbosch and Rotterdam
